Be Your Own Boss For Green Living

Has the recent climate change gotten you in a tizzy? Are you worried that you are using too much energy and want to change you lifestyle?

Green living is a concern of every one nowadays. Ever since Al Gore gave us the scare of our lives about the way Americans were using too many of Earth's non-renewable resources, we have all tried to make green living a necessity in our lives.

Sure, he did a great job of telling us how the climate change is all our faults, but now we are all at a loss of words. Especially when he told us, too little too late. So now what can we do to convert into green living.

Politicians have spent countless hours debating over how we should be more keen on green living. And the only thing that has come out of these discussions, is that we need to have green choices in order for us to be concerned.

That is all fine and good, but where are these green choices? These are the questions that we should be asking our politicians. And their answer is to make green choices available to everyone, and not just the well off.

Climate change is not only a problem that faces Americans, but its gets headlines in International news everyday. In fact, this past February, International politicians finally reached a new agreement on tackling the climate change issue. The delegates all agreed that developing countries have to meet the same targets as well as rich countries in cutting greenhouse gas emissions.

In order to aide green living, the delegates at the meeting also agreed that a global market should be formed to cap and trade carbon dioxide emissions. They believed this was vital in influencing the replacement of the Kyoto Protocol.

It is said that a man-made climate change was now necessary beyond a reasonable doubt. And that governments from all around the world would be the instigators of this change. United States senators forecast that there would be a law passed through Congress that would cut emissions by the end of next year.

The Kyoto agreement will end in 2012, and the United Nations has already met trying to discuss mandating emission cuts throughout the United Nations. The largest threat of the increasing problem of climate change, is the fear of melting polar ice caps which would tend to worsen floods and droughts, and increase the number of devastating storms.

We have already started to see the threat of increasingly devastating storm, could you imagine even worse. So next time you are out and about trying to make decisions on how to make your own personal climate change, consider a lifestyle of green living.

Green living doesn't have to be a struggle, find ways during your day that you think would benefit the environment. Politicians are making waves in the struggle of climate change, so should you.

For instance, say you take the bus to work every day; Great! Now instead of driving to your car to the nearest bus stop, try walking. Not only will this benefit your personal impact on the earth's climate change, but your own personal effort into green living can also be the healthier for you.

Climate Change is necessary because for too long we took for granted the things that were so easily and readily available to us. Now it is our responsibility as a human race to stride for changes that will benefit our climate. Green living is the answer to these problems.
